Lightbox not displaying with Shutter effect

  • When I click on a thumbnail the image is pulling up as a separate page (i.e. a direct image link) instead of opening the lightbox like it should using the Shutter effect.

    I originally uploaded a couple of galleries and tested them with the template I’m using. They worked fine. I created the full album and gallery structure then populated the galleries by pointing to the individual gallery directories where I had uploaded the photos. After I did that it started opening them individually. Any idea what’s happening?

  • I am having the EXACT same issue. Previously all of my galleries were in lightbox.

    Now they all like to an individual page.

    I did not make any setting changes.

    Even when I select lightbox now it goes to a separate page with only the image showing.

    Same issue here as well—no settings changes or anything, just the same configuration that had been working fine and no longer does. Unfortunately I’m not sure exactly when it first happened, but it was likely sometime after the upgrade to WP 3.5 and possibly after any recent NextGEN updates. I can use Thickbox for now, but hopefully this will be resolved soon because I much prefer Shutter!

    I did check for you guys, but here working fine as usual on WP 3.5 and nextgen Version 1.9.10.

    I am using shutter effect with the class="shutterset_%GALLERY_NAME%"

    I’m having the same issue, but maybe slightly different. It works fine if I’m logged into the site and doesn’t work if not logged in.
