Lightbox not loading PDF

  • After the recent update, File Away hasn’t been able to pull up a preview of any of our files anymore. The lightbox loads, no errors are shown, but the file itself doesn’t show up. This goes for our previous files, and any new files uploaded either.

    I’ve found out that it is specific to Google Chrome, and I’m sure it has to do with the enterprise version since they just updated it’s security flagging system.

    My header wasn’t loading, and I had to find the file, rename it from Header0218509879357 to Header and re-upload it and viola it now is loading properly on the enterprise version of chrome. I was able to see an error though, Blockedbyclient which I do not see here but I assume the same thing is happening. Only problem is, all the files I have hosted are named very well already, so I don’t think it’s their names that’s causing them to not load. Thank you for any help!

    I’ve since turned of flightbox so people can still download and use the links, just for reference.

    Also, with the new update of WordPress I’m sure you know that your shortcode button doesn’t work anymore, in fact it kind of broke my screen and I had to trick it into closing.

    Not sure if you plan on updating this or not, but I want you to be aware ??

    No shortcode buttons work anymore, because there is no tinymce panel anymore. If you use the Classic Editor plugin or something similar, the shortcode button will work fine.

    I am unable to reproduce your issue with pdfs in flightbox, unfortunately.
