Lightbox not opening with Divi gallery image

    Hi!

    I am using Divi Gallery module and have targeted the images with the selector. For some reason it does not open the lightbox, but if I click on something else that opens the lightbox, the images from the gallery are visible.

    What could be the issue?

    Could you provide a URL to your page, so we can take a look? There might?be some information in the dev console that we could make use of. Could you also share a screenshot of your “Add Lightbox Options” (Our plugin > Settings > Basic) config with us? You can use a free image hosting site like https://imgbb.com/ to share the screenshot with us.

    Hi tom,

    For your own security and ours, we cannot and will not accept login credentials to your site. In addition, it is against the forum rules to offer login credentials (https://www.ads-software.com/support/guidelines/#the-bad-stuff).

    It’s likely that either Divi or something else on your site is adding its own effect or JavaScript to the images, which is stopping ours from working. If you can’t provide a public link, so we can inspect the code, then perhaps you can check to see if that (some other effect) is the case.

    For now, the original Divi lightbox is in place, because I don’t know how to disable it.

    Hi tom,

    Thank you for providing that additional information.

    According to this article, https://divi.help/threads/disable-divi-lightbox-when-using-alternative-lightbox.4012/, the only way to not use Divi’s built-in lightbox is by using a different module (e.g. Text Module) for images. As a test, could you use a text module, and then, in the content area, click Add Media > Create Gallery > Select your images > Create New Gallery > Link to Media File, and then see if that makes a difference? Does the image still appear in Divi’s lightbox?

    From there, you would need to add the new CSS class selectors and it should hopefully work.
