Lightbox not working

  • I downloaded the minimalist wordpress theme and I can’t get lightbox to work for the images. I have it running on other sites but it won’t work on this one. Please help

  • I came across your message because I had the same problem. But I fixed it so here’s my reply. Well.. actually I just used another lightbox plugin named Slimbox (the one updated in 2009 by author Kevin Sylvestre, other Slimbox plugins didn’t work). That one worked fine.

    For the most, it’s a great theme though! I don’t understand codes well enough to make the troublesome Lightbox plugin work.. Hopefully someone else could give it a try.. I think it has something to do with the theme and some plugins being made with Mootools or something. But I’m not shure what that is.

    I do have to mention that the Slimbox I used doesn’t automatically add the title and subtitle which is a bit annoying..

    EDIT: titles do work with the title attribute.. or click on picture > advanced settings > link settings
