Lightbox not working

    I have enabled the ‘Lightbox’ option, but it doesn’t seem to do anything.

    I mean, when i add new photos, I don’t see any new options that would enable the appearance of the Lightbox. Unless I’m missing something?

    But i just can’t see anyway to actually get the Lightboxes to appear. Can someone tell me what I’m supposed to be doing? I thought there would be extra options in the ‘Add Media’ window, or a new way to create a gallery, but nothing.

    I can’t find any help online, so would really appreciate some feedback.

  • For any image to work in any Lightbox plugin (or Lightbox option built into a theme), when you insert the image into your page or post, you usually have to also “link it to the media file”. This wraps a link around the image that Lightbox uses.

    You find this ability to wrap, when you are inserting an image, there is a drop-down in the right-hand bottom corner of the pop-up media file window where you choose the image that is labelled “Link To”.
    Click the drop-down and choose “media file”. Then insert the image.
