    I converted my galleries with this plugin, it looks great. I plan on buying the pro version if I can get it to work. I am using a lightbox that I really like, and when I convert the gallery to a meow gallery it no longer works, clicking on the image gives no result.

  • have you tried out meow lightbox! it looks amazing, give it a go! it will definitely work with meow gallery.

    Hi @squarepixel,

    How do you use the Meow Gallery? Did you make sure the shortcode (or the Gutenberg block) is set up that so the links are added to the images? If there are no links, a standard lightbox wouldn’t work. So you need to set that. Like @nicokobel suggested, you could also try the Meow Lightbox. This lightbox doesn’t require the link (which is actually useless if you use a lightbox) and does things in a more clean and magical way.

    I have a lightbox that launches my videos, I want to use the same lightbox for all. I set the link for the image to open the image, when using the regular gallery shortcode it works great, once I add Meow Gallery it breaks. I am just embedding the short code, not using Gutenberg.

    Hi @squarepixel, what is breaking exactly? Could you make me an example so that I can understand the issue a bit better?

    I am doing it on a local server, but I am activating the plugin and when activated the gallery looks great, but the images are no longer clickable, they should link to the larger image (that automatically makes the lightbox open). I am using the ARI Fancy Lightbox because it will also open my youtube links automaticly into the lightbox, https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/ari-fancy-lightbox/ and it works with my wordpress galleries in a post or page until I activate the Meow Gallery. I just want to make my galleries look nicer.

    Hi @squarepixel,

    Can you make sure your shortcode looks like this?

    [gallery ids='1,2,3' link='media']

    Or…

    [gallery ids='1,2,3' link='attachment']

    This should work ??
