Lightbox not working

You mentioned it no longer works – what have you done recently to your website since it last worked? Can you disable your cloudflare services and test again?

Is there usually an issue with the plugin & cloudflare?

I can see by looking at your website that the scripts required for Easy Image Gallery (eg prettyPhoto fancyBox) are not being loaded onto your page, which is why the lightbox is not opening.

What have you done recently to your website since it last worked? I’m not familiar with what Cloudflare is doing, which is why I’m suggested disabling it temporarily to isolate the issue.

For some reason I am experiencing the same issue where the Lightbox isn’t working. The WordPress default setting of displaying the ‘Media File’ continues to work as is.
No ‘Easy Image Gallery’ effects sadly.

I looked at your URL but all I see is the default WordPress image gallery and not the gallery inserted via the Easy Image Gallery.

Also, you have a JavaScript error on that URL you provided (looks like it’s related to some sort of twitter widget), which will break all JS related to that page. Easy Image Gallery uses JavaScript to open up each image which is likely why it’s not working in your case.

Try making a new page, with no widgets, insert a gallery and see if it works. Send me the URL and I’ll have another look. If you can, email me at [email protected] with a temp admin account and I’ll take a closer look for you.

Closing due to inactivity

Mine isn’t working as well. This morning my lightbox worked fine, but after adding some plugins and making some changes it won’t show up anymore. It just links to the attachement url. I hope you can help me?

It’s likely that you have a Javascript error on your website caused by the plugins you added or your custom code.

Try deactivating the plugins you added and removing the changes, does it work again after this? If so, activate the plugins 1 by 1, put your custom code back and test in between.

I tried deactivating all the plugins, but it still doesn’t work. And as far as I know, I didn’t make major changes to the website.. I deinstalled your plugin and re-installed it, but nothing works. I just can’t figure it out..

Easy Image Gallery only works currently on single posts/pages. Because you are not loading the gallery on a singular post/page the scripts are not loading.

That’s weird. I used it this way from the beginning and it worked. I load it in a single page, and then i recall that page from my index.php. That’s the same right?

Not exactly. There’s a check for is_singular in the code, so will not run unless you’re on a single post/page. Unfortunately the index.php is not deemed a single post/page in WordPress.

It may have worked before if you had another lightbox script running.
