Lightbox not working anymore

    Hello!
    Recently the Lightbox on my private blog does not work anymore.

    I have already disabled all plugins except NGG. Didn’t help either.

    When previewing a Classic Theme it worked. But I didn’t really want to spend endless hours for a new theme.
    Unfortunately my theme is a bit older without updates.

    Is there still a way to bring the Lightbox back to life?

    The slideshow does not work either.

    Could you please try changing your NextGEN Gallery Lightbox Effect to any other available options and see if that works for you?

    We have around five available options for the free plugin:

    Yes I tried all possibilities.

    Hi @nagamichisan,

    Your theme uses a custom jQuery version that’s no longer compatible with the latest version of WordPress ( it de-enqueues WP’s default jQuery version and enqueues its own ).
    For the WP compatibility reasons, NextGen Gallery cannot support custom jQuery versions other than the one that will load from the WordPress itself.

    Kindly contact your theme support to see if they can help you, otherwise you may need to switch to a different theme to be able to use NextGen Gallery plugin.

    well, i will not get support for my old theme.
    so i decided to a new one. there works the lightbox & slideshow.
