Lightbox not working, gallery flips back to album page

@cobaltcat – Are you using the “Link to page:” option in your albums and/or galleries?

I ran into the same issue. It looks like when you create a new gallery and click the “Add Page” button, it does not populate the “Link to page” field.

I’m not sure what happened, it was working fine before and we had never used gallery pages. Once I set up individual gallery pages and used the “Link to page” field, it works again. Thanks you!

This seems to be a present issue when you have “Link to page:” set to “Not Linked”. This was not a present issue within the prior version of the plugin.

The issue presents itself as soon as you navigate through an album (set on a page through a shortcode like “[album id=1 template=compact]”). As soon as you navigate into the individual gallery and click on an image it pops out in a lightbox and then crashes NextGEN resulting to being navigated back to the main album view. This also results in a broken url slug that then makes navigating the album impossible.

@correiar – We have found an issue with the Link to page function and have committed a correction in our next release branch.

@scampanella – There seems to be something different with your issue (if nothing else its happening on a different server and most likely a different theme and different plugins), please start your own topic so we can try to help you with your specific issue on your specific site.
