    Hello there,

i am excited about the plugin and all its features. Anyway there is one thing i am desperate about and its the support for the mobile devices.

when you are using mobile and click on the lightboxed image (every image on the site in the article in example) the border around it is really rough means that picture is getting centered in the middle, so you would be thinkin that full screen button is there to solve that but unfortunately its not. When you move your phone horizontally to achieve widescreen zoom on the image you want to enlarge it is not happening. The image is actually in the center still. So on mobile devices the enlargement, the full screen you are expecting is not happening and its actually not even significant enlarge to enjoy the picture the way mobile devices are expecting.

what i would like to ask is if it can be implemented and fixed in future updates or if there is any way how can i code this fullscreen enlargement on my own to have really fullscreen.

    pictures here,

thank you very much for support,

    Hello @lightek,

    Sorry for this late reply,

I had a look at https://cepesta.cz/vylety-po-ceske-republice/cesky-raj/udolim-plakanek-kolem-hradu-kost/ but I am not sure about what you are expecting the “fullscreen” mode to do?

Actually, more than fullscreen this is mostly a “minimal” mode where the image info at the bottom will be hidden.

Basically, we’ve decided to avoid any resizing or cropping of the images, so we are always limited by either the width or the height of the screen, on a mobile, it is usually the width of the screen.

One way to enlarge the images on a mobile would then be to “crop” its sides / make it wider than the screen, but I’m not sure that this would be a good solution…

Sorry if I misunderstood your issue though!

    Best regards,
    Thomas

Hi Thomas I am having this same issue.

I believe images in a lightbox should be the width of the screen and larger than the size displayed on a gallery page. Therefore a portrait image with the phone in portrait mode would push the title/description etc downwards. Similarly the landscape mode of the phone would do similar for landscape images.

I have played around with the css and done this but it appears that the lightbox is fixed to the viewport size and will not overflow.

Scrolling within the lightbox would be useful as I wanted to have a button underneath which would take up quite a lot of space. There are other lightboxes that allow this, I though Meow Lightbox did previously.

An example of the space taken up by a button can be seen here:

    Any help would be appreciated
