Lightbox option not working

    Hi,

    I’m using 2.2.3 of your plugin which on the whole works great. However, my only problem is the ‘open full-size image in lightbox’ isn’t working. I’m using two views on a site, one on the front page set to Slideshow, and the other on the testimonials page set to Display. If I set the lightbox option on, in either view, the thumbnails simply clicks through on both Chrome and IE to the full size image’s source url, taking me away from the page I was on. The image and lightbox options are currently set to on for the testimonials page.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    Thanks for pointing this out.

    You will need to install a lightbox plugin. Try Simple Colorbox.

    I did not include a lightbox in the plugin to avoid the risk of conflict with some themes that include a lightbox.

    I apologize for not mentioning this in the plugin itself. I will fix that in the next update.

    Hi Chris,

    Thanks for the response, and just a thought, why don’t you simply use the default WordPress image class “wpimgload”, which auto adds a lightbox function to any image usually inserted in a post or page?

    I’m not aware of such a class. I do not find it in the core code or the Codex. Perhaps that is part of a plugin or theme?
