Lightbox Scaling Height with Photos

Hi there,
I am using theme 1 for my galleries on my website.

Most of my photos appear with the border/lightbox way far away from the top and bottom … this results with the navigation icons and the image description way below the image, and the top border far away from the image.

Has anyone found a way of resolving this, making the lightbox hug the top and bottom of the images like it does on the sides?
