    Hello,

On the prior version (5.1.7) everything worked fine. The images on my page are shown cropped but when clicking on them they’re opened within the meow lightbox and are displayed without crop. After the update to version 5.1.8 this is not the case anymore, they are displayed within the lightbox the same as on the page, so they’re also cropped. I’ve just found out that enabling the “Agressive Resolve” does help to display the original image within the lightbox again. Is this normal behaviour?

    Thank you

    Hey @endy66! ??

Aggressive Resolve was the way the lightbox used to work by default before the update. It is more resource-intensive, so it makes your page load a little bit slower, but it ensures the images are referenced through WordPress to display them.

Now, for optimization (speed), the lightbox will, by default, use the image with the same source as what is displayed on your page. It’s up to you to choose what you prefer! If you don’t have too many pictures or have a fearly good server, you can enable Aggressive Resolve.

    Hope this helps!

Perfect thank you for your response, that was exactly what I was looking and hoping for. I have to rely on the Aggressive Resolve to make the Lightbox to work because of the way my site / plugins combo is built.

    Kind Regards
