Lightbox Somewhat Similar to Pinterest or Behance Exist?

Hi,

I need an image in a gallery to show a few images from a project without entirely leaving that gallery page. I don’t want the project images to show in an entirely different page from the gallery.

In Pinterest you click on an image, then a new window/lightbox pops up, which allows the user to look at different images and scroll without ever effecting the user’s position on the initial gallery page.

I haven’t been able to find a plugin that does anything like this. I thought I’d check here before giving up.
