  • Hey, @bafan!

Thank you for posting about this problem!

Seems like there is a conflict on the site. Could you please perform the following tests?

    • Activate a WordPress default theme and see if you still get the error message.
    • Deactivate all plugins except Instagram Feed WD and check if the problem is there.
    • If the issue will be gone after deactivating the plugins, please enable them one by one to find which one is causing the issue.

If the problem will be present in all cases, please contact our team and we will take a closer look. Also, make sure to mention the link to this forum thread.

We will share the solution here after we figure it out.
    Thanks! Have a great day!

OK! It’s just a matter of theme!
With the default theme (Twenty seventeen) everything works!
By disabling the plugins, with my theme, INSTAGRAM FEED WD does not work!

    Hi, @bafan!

We’re glad you could find the origin of this problem. In that case, please send this thread to your theme developers and ask them to have a look at the issue.

This is most probably just a Javascript conflict and they can fix and update the theme easily.

    Cheers!

    My theme no longer supports.
Over the years I personally changed and updated it when it was needed.
I’ve deleted your plugin and tried others, but I prefer to reinstall yours because I consider it the best!
These days I did some tests and found the conflict in javascript prototype.js (v.1.6).
The update to version v.1.7 and higher does not create conflict, but does not allow another javascript: Carousel.js (encrypted in my theme).
All this is used by the theme to create a slideshow image gallery at the center of the page.
Waiting for tips, I prefer to leave your plugin working smoothly, and the slider no.
If you have advice to give me, I’m listening.
    Greetings!

    Hey, @bafan!

Please note, that version 1.6 of Prototype.js is quite old (it was released in September 2009). This will trigger conflicts with other plugins as well.

So we highly recommend you to ask your theme developers to update Prototype.js of the theme and keep everything up-to-date.

    Thanks! Have a good day!
