Lightroom LR/Blog PLUGIN!

    anyone happen to be using this lightroom plugin that supposedly has link functionality between a WP blog and the lightroom software? i am trying to figure out if this is as straighforward as the Aperture < > Flickr (or MobileMe) functionality.

  • Hi, Jon–
    I’ve been using the LR/Blog plugin. Yes, it’s easy. I don’t use Aperture, so I can’t compare it to that. On the other hand, I’ve been having some weird things happen to jpgs that I upload with the plugin: sometimes the file gets damaged, not immediately but at some random length of time (days, weeks) after it’s been uploaded. I haven’t yet systematically tried to debug the problem but I am starting to wonder whether LR/Blog is the culprit.

    Say SFC, did you ever track down the corruption for which you suspected the LR/Blog plugin?

    Hi, Eric–
    Sorry, I actually can’t remember where I left this. For various reasons, it’s been months since I’ve had time to work on the blog so haven’t uploaded any new photos. All I can say is that I haven’t seen any more disappearing photos, but that may just be because I fixed all the bad links and haven’t added any new ones…
