To solve your problem, please complete the following steps:
1) go to the Facebook Like Button settings page ( follow the link your_site/wp-admin/admin.php?page=facebook-button-plugin.php )
2) check the “Facebook buttons position” option
3) if the “Shortcode” is selected:
a) please select other position
b) save changes
c) go to the frontend of your site and check if there are buttons appear on your home page
d) if there are no Facebook Like Button, please repeat steps 4.a-4-e
4) if there is another, not “Shortcode” position:
a) using FTP, please go to the folder your_site_folder/wp-content/plugins/facebook-button-plugin
b) open file facebook-button-plugin.php to edit it
c) please insert the following row to the end of facebook-button-plugin.php file: add_filter( ‘the_excerpt’, ‘fcbkbttn_display_button’ );
d) please save changes
e) go to the frontend of your site and check if there are buttons appear on your home page.
