    This is not currently planned feature.

    This could possibly be achieved with CSS or by taking the plugin and re-writing some of the code. It would depend on what you want the heart to do.

    In version 1.4 you can now create a template part in your theme (parts/wp-instagram-widget.php) which will allow you to override the output of the plugin completely. This would allow you to add a heart fairly easy whilst supporting future updates.
