‘Like categories’ don’t show

If I choose ‘like categories’ in my own taxonomy in the Custom Bulk/Quick Edit Settings, then the taxonomy won’t show if I try to bulk change it. If I choose ‘Like tags’ it is working perfectly.
Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong?
