likebox shortcode not always working

    Easy Social Post Feed version 5.1.7

    I cannot get all my likebox shortcodes to work for some facebook pages. It looks like the data is loading, but it doesn’t.

    This shortcode works: [efb_likebox fanpage_url=”Raglethgallery” responsive=1] to access the page: https://www.facebook.com/RaglethGallery/

    This shortcode doesn’t work: [efb_likebox fanpage_url=”TheOutdoorDepot” responsive=1] to access the https://www.facebook.com/TheOutdoorDepot/

    Perhaps there is a restriction I haven’t found yet relating to the type of page I am trying to access?

    Hope you are doing good today ??

    Please check is there any restrictions added for the pages which are not returning any data. In most of the cases, the user has added Country or Age restrictions in their page settings. Facebook doesn’t return data if any restriction is added.

    Please go to your Facebook settings page and remove the restrictions if added. If issues still exist let me know.

    I haven’t found any obvious restrictions. The obvious difference between the troublesome page and the others is that it has a Shop Now button. I am not convinced that button is the problem though. It may take a bit of time. I’ll get back to you after I have had an opportunity to poke around.

    Yeah, Shop now button doesn’t seem to be an error. I just did troubleshooting and for some pages(you mentioned above) Facebook is not returning any data at all.

    Can you check if the page is public and try removing any type of restriction if added.

    This will take me some time to sort through as I need to work through third parties who are not always forthcoming.

    I suggest that we close this. When I find the real issue, if there is one, then I’ll et back to you.
