Limit access to Mega menu Divi Life

    How can I limit access to Mega menu Pro (a Divi Life plugin) to users of a selected role? Let’s say Contributor

    On my site I don’t want Contributors to be able to edit Divi Mega menu Pro, but I don’t see how I can manage that;

    I already disabled all permissions in the Divi settings for this role Contributor. But there is no option to hide Divi Mega menu Pro.

    It’s a problem because even the settings page with the license key etc can be edited by Contributors.

    I have already contacted the developers of Divi Life and they say I should try the plugin User Role Editor. But since I’ve already installed and configured your plugin Members (on about fifty sites) I’d like to continue with yours even though I might have to upgrade to MemberPress Pro if that solves it.

    ?I apologize for the delay in response.

    Members plugin allows you to manage roles and permissions from plugins and themes. We don’t have a section for each plugin. Plugin authors can use any capability they want, including custom capabilities to access pages and services. If you know which capabilities are required to edit Divi Mega menu, you can assign those capabilities to a user/role.

    Keep in mind that many plugins create admin settings pages using a native capability associated with administrators, such as manage_options so in that case, you need to contact the plugin author.
