Limit areas item is shipped to

    I wanted to restrict perishable goods shipping out of local zone, however I followed the help by @yukikatayama and it works fine, however if a perishable and non-perishable are in the basket, it allows for shipping.

    I assumed the non-perishable will dominate and cancel out the delivery rate. Pls advise

    Hey @aborak

    If you want to ensure that any orders that contain any perishable items can not be shipped to certain areas, you will need an additional plugin. For that, I would suggest to use Conditional Shipping And Payments.

    Using that, you can set up rules that will hide all Shipping Methods for a specific Shipping Zone, if the order contains any products from a specific category.

    Thanks for this tip however direction from @yukikatayama works except when both per and non are both in the basket. From the doc it should be no shipping however it is not

    Hi @aborak,

    Just to check, going by the thread you’re referencing:

    • Have you assigned the individual products the respective shipping classes (perishable/non-perishable)?
    • Have you also ensured that for the shipping zone you do not wish to ship the product, the cost field has been left blank (https://snipboard.io/Q84F27.jpg)?
