Limit editing only for admin

    Hi, how can I limit editing stock only for admins. I mean only admin to be able to add or lower stock availability and all the rest users that have access to be able to read the report only. Can I add some custom function to my functions.php as I cannot find a way to limit this through user roles plugin that I use.

    Hi,

    Sorry, as desired by you, currently you would not be able to give separate access privileges for editing and reading the stock reports in the WooCommerce Stock Manager plugin.

    Explaining further, at the code level, the WooCommerce Stock Manager plugin does set ‘manage_woocommerce’ capability for all the menu and sub-menu added by the plugin. Also, you can modify the same using the ‘stock_manager_manage’ filter, however it would be applied to both the menu and all the sub-menus.

    hi can i know the codes to add this stock manager functionality for other roles ? eg for editor, im using user role editor plugin. but i cannot see the function to include this .
