    I have tried creating and adding my Google Maps API to
    your app but am getting the error of exceeding the daily limit. Could
    you clarify what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks for getting in touch with us. Please make sure to create your own API keys for Google Maps, otherwise you will face the stated issue. For this follow the link in Settings of Google Maps and steps described here-https://web-dorado.com/wordpress-google-maps/installation-wizard-options-menu/configuring-api-key.html

    This should resolve the issue.
