Hi, I installed this plugin and works fine on the sidebar if I don’t touch any options on ‘limit listings to’.
But, If I limit listings to post, nothing displays except the widget title. I want to display only posts(not pages and categories), but it doesn’t work.

Please, help me out. This is my website in case it helps.

Sorry about the Korean language. I currently took down the widget on the sidebar. But, I can always put it back if it’s needed to resolve the issue.

You’ll need to enter your site title in the input labeled “Remove Site Title From Listings.”

Your listings will usually be returned with the page/post name as well as the site title. To remove the site title from the listings, place the exact text you would like removed (i.e. – Site Title) here. If there is more than one phrase to be removed, separate them by commas (i.e. – Site Title, | Site Title). Unless your site doesn’t output the site titles, then you will need to add this in order for the filter settings below to work.

In your case you’ll want to add “ | YESiSURF.com” to that input.

The reason is, WordPress looks for the post/page by name but can’t find a post/page when the site’s title is there as well.

Thank you for the answer, Justin.
But, I am afraid the way you told me doesn’t work.

I put the widget back with the way mentioned above. You can probably see “a” on the bottom right of the page. That’s where the top content list is supposed to be placed.
“a” is just a temporary title.

Ah, you’re right.. I just took a look at the code again. The way the plugin works: It looks at the URL provided by google’s api (yoursite.com/your-page-with-views) and then tries to find a post whose slug matches your-page-with-views. In your case you’re still using the default link structure (yoursite.com/?p=123) so obviously that method will not work.

Unfortunately your only option would be to change your permalink structure (yoursite.com/wp-admin/options-permalink.php) to (pretty much) any other version. Once you do that, it still won’t work until Google starts returning the new urls.

    Thank you, Justin.
Even if I can’t change it, I hope this helps others who would have the same issues.
