limit number of posts per page (portfolio)

    Hello everyone,

    somehow I cannot change the number of posts/projects per page in the customizing section of my theme anymore (neither the columns).
    Is there a way to limit the number from 9 to 8 shown projects by editing the CSS?
    (I don’t want the project “office desk” to be shown – only after clicking on “load more”)

    Change the settings under “Blog pages show at most” to 8
