Limit post length on home page

I am previewing your theme for my blog. Is there a way to limit the post length so that a “Continue Reading” or “Read More” shows up on the post rather than the entire post being displayed on the home page?

There are a couple of ways to do this.
1 – Create a child theme and make some code modifications, which I could help you with.
2 – Use a plugin like https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/easy-custom-auto-excerpt/
A plugin is the quicker and easier route, perhaps unless you already have a child theme set up.
