Limit posts shown on Mobile – Surfarama

I love how Surfarama theme allows several posts to show on the home page. I realise I can also specify the number of posts to show from Settings>Reading. But I would like to have fewer posts show on mobile than desktops and iPads. Is that possible? Any code I can put somewhere to make number of posts vary in mobiles?

Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thank you.
