Limit products by weight.

  • Subject: Question on how to limit a category by weight in Maximum Products Per User for WooCommerce.

    Dear support team, I hope this message finds you well. I want to know if using your Max Products per User plugin for WooCommerce in my WooCommerce store I could implement a feature, which limits a specific category by weight in the cart. I think it is possible but I haven’t seen how I could do it, and I’m afraid of buying the pro version and then not being able to do it. In particular, I’m looking for a way to restrict the total amount of weight that can be added to the cart for products that belong to the category with the ID [Category X].

    For example, I would like to set a limit of 3 kg for the priority shipping product category. I have reviewed the plugin documentation and found a specific function to achieve this but with the free version I have not been able to do it. Could you please provide me with guidance on how I can achieve this goal using your plugin? Is payment necessary? I very much appreciate your help and guidance in this regard.

    What you are looking for is possible with our plugin. But you have to utilize the “Per product category” feature, which is available in the Pro version of the plugin. Since www.ads-software.com restricts us from providing support for our Pro feature here, please contact us through our official website forum.
