    Hi,
i’m new to the plugin. I optimized a dozen photos, without limiting resolution (Resizing large images to a maximum of pixels). I now want to re optimize them to reduce their size. However I’m having a difficult time doing so. I tried to restore to backup in order to optimize again, but nothing happened.
Also, I do not understand what does the button “Optimize 18 thumbnails” above each photo refers to.

    Thanks in advance,
    Ben

    Hi Alex,

    Here it is. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_Z8B5WqCCg5MXcxd1I0VmdGdHc
When I first optimized the images resizing was not selected. Now it is selected, and I would like to optimize again with the limitation.

    Thanks,
    Ben

    Hi Ben,
thanks for your patience and details on this.

    To answer your questions:
    1) “I do not understand what does the button “Optimize 18 thumbnails” above each photo refers to.” – each of your images has around 18 associated thumbnails. I suggest you choosing to optimize them as well from Settings/ShortPixel
    2) to be able to resize the original images once you already optimized them but you didn’t choose the resize option I suggest you do it like this: go to Settings/ShortPixel, choose the option to resize them. Also make sure you choose Lossless.
Then run Bulk ShortPixel and upon completion switch back to Lossy setting and run again Bulk ShortPixel.

This way you should have all the (original) images resized and also optimized as lossy.

Please let me know if you need further assistance?

    Thanks,
    Alex

    Thanks Alex!
However, I tried to convert the images to lossless, both by bulk, and separately, both options did not work. Here are screenshots:

Two images I tried to individually convert to lossless could not restore to backup. Which is strange since as you can see in the settings I have sent backup was chosen.
It seems the only way to achieve the desired result is to delete the images and upload them once again.

I would actually like to have some images as loseless. Though it is impossible since the settings are set to lossy, and then it can’t restore to backup. Any advice?
    Thanks in advance

Eventually we figured out what the problem was namely the client ran out of credits. Adding more credits fixed the issue.
