Limit shop manager to max product categories

  • Hello!
    In woocommerce I would like to limit the shop manager to a maximum number of category selections when posting a product. I have seen numerous browser scripts, but would like something more secure, which validates the selection limit regardless of what may have been altered in the browser. Is anything like this featured in any plugin? Thank you!

    Not that I’ve seen. You’d need something custom – perhaps using save_post hook, discarding anything over X cats and showing an error notice.
