Limit sidebar to front page

The sidebar on my MinimalistBlogger theme, appears on my Front Page and on all of the Posts pages. Wish to restrict the display of the sidebar ONLY to the Front Page. Have found instructions requiring adding to the Layout conditional Tags and custom CSS. Trying to find a simpler solution. TIA
