    I would like to know if there’s a way to limit the size of a post?

    Lets say there’s over 25 lines, what if ? is there a way to limit a post to display a limited size.

  • You could put a character length limit into the database field but any links would throw that off.

    Do you want to limit the post length or the excerpt length. If the excerpt, check out this plugin.

    I am not sure if that will work but will give it try.

    I thought there was a setting in WP. That you could say after so many lines, your post would stop and you would have the more ……… And than just click on it from there and see the full blown post with comments.

    I believe this pluign or attacking the WP core is your only option right now. I’d use the plugin.

    @michaelbb,
    Well, in your admin > Write > Write Post area there is a “more” button. And you can insert that – manually! – wherever you want to break the text.
    Note: this thing has effect only on so-called multipost pages, like index, archives and category listing.
