Limit the number of calendar items displayed in the widget

    There must be some obvious setting that I’m missing, but I just can’t find it. Simple Calendar is installed and working properly, and I’m trying to use the widget in the sidebar. The widget is currently displaying all of my calendar entries – approximately 20. How can I limit the number of sidebar entries displayed – for example the next 5 events?
