Limit the number of latet posts in home page and in archive

I got a brand news WordPress 6.1.1 running with Twenty Twenty-Two theme. I’d like to define different numbers of latest posts that appear in the home page and in the archive/category page.

If I define the number of latest post in the wordpress settings (Blog pages show at most x posts), that number “x” influence both the home page and the archive/category view.
