Hi, i wonder how to limit the size of the images uploads, because my editors keep uploading big images in their posts, keeping the possibility to upload bigger files in other folders (like the banner folderof adrotate for example).

?? yeah, and with more 24M pixel phones coming out it’s just going to get worse! I’m not sure if it’s through stupidity or laziness, nor which one irks me more! (one of my pet peeves, if you couldn’t tell)

I’m unaware of any way to limit file size by folder, there’s only the global limit in php.ini, which affects video files as well.

You probably could at least hide the full size option when inserting images in posts so at least the gargantuan file is not used to fill a 600px wide image. Maybe some sort of fancy last child CSS selector with display: none; or something?

yeah, you’re right…24m , my gosh, it scares. Anyway in adrotate plugin there is the manage media section where you can upload media up to 512kb, so i think there is a way to limit it. i will investigate
