Limit Widget Display to One Specific Page?
-
WP 5.0.4 (Classic Admin)
Suffusion Child Theme 4.4.9I am in the process of migrating and reorganizing a site built with WP 3x. Many of the original pages relied on display of unique info applying only to that specific page. This unique info was displayed by “inner” sidebars secondary to the main navigation menu that displays on all pages.
For example, the “page I need help with” needs a second sidebar explaining historical background of the topic discussed. So the layout options are set to “two right sidebars” supported by the theme.
The Widget Context plugin seems to promise this functionality, so I’m testing it. The roadblock is that in the Widgets interface, no page titles are listed for selection.
Have I misunderstood the plugin description? Have I missed a step? Am I doing something wrong?
Perhaps more important: If the Context plugin can solve the logistic problem, will the result be compatible with mobile devices?
Many thanks for your advice, Anna
