limitation that prevents me from configuring the “catalog” as desired
-
Good morning,
I am encountering a limitation that prevents me from configuring the “catalog” as desired. Here is the specific result I would like to achieve:
In the catalog, I am intentionally skipping the “skip categories” step, so the service grid displays “all” (both services and packages). I would like to hide the “all” filter and show only the “services” and “packages” filters, so that services and packages are not shown together on the initial screen. This is to avoid disorienting the user’s choice instead of facilitating it. I would like only the services separated from the packages to be visible on the initial screen, and in the filter section, only “services” (shown by default) and “packages” on the right. If the user clicks on “packages,” only the packages should be shown.
To be more clear, the packages should appear in the archive separately from the services and only if the “packages” filter is selected. On the service detail page, if present, the package should be displayed exactly as it works now.
I have not been able to achieve this result through the plugin settings and shortcode customization. If I disable “packages,” they disappear from both the filter bar, the service detail, and the booking form. If I enable the packages and configure the shortcode parameter to show specific services, the packages are still shown in the archive.
I hope you can help me find a solution to configure the catalog as described. Thank you!
