I just installed the plugin and have a limited set of options in the Events admin menu (Tags, Settings, Help, Troubleshooting and Event Add-ons). I was eventually able to find a link to Create an Event through an onboarding screen which returned a ‘You need a higher level of permissions.’ message. However my user is an administrator role and I have access to everything else in the admin. I’m removed all other plugins and set the theme to Twenty Twenty. Latest WordPress version, hosted on WPEngine. Resaved permalinks several times.

  • Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Please try this and let me know if it resolves the issue:

Disable all the plugins on your website, including ours, then enable the events calendar plugin first before re-enabling all the others. That should bring out all the menu items for the plugin.

    Best regards,

    Marho

Thanks for the suggestion – what ended up working was deactivating the calendar plugin, switching to the twenty twenty two theme, activating the calendar plugin again then switching back to the Divi theme.

Great, glad to hear you’ve been able to resolve this issue! I’m going to go ahead and close it for now.

Feel free to open up a new one if anything else comes up.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Thanks,?
    Jaime
