    Hello,

I’ve installed the product feed plugin for my woocommerce dropshipping store and I have a message on merchant center saying “Limited performance due to missing identifiers [gtin, mpn, brand]” and I don’t know where can I find them.

My main question is, does it really affect shopping campaign’s performance by not using these identifiers?

    Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

Like Google says in its notification, it will limit the performance of your campaigns so it is advisable to add least try adding the brand(s) to your feed.

When your products have brands and you filled in those brands on the product edit page in a separate brand attribute you should be able to find that brand in the drop-downs on the field mapping section of our plugin.

    Hope this helps?

    Hello @supportadtribes

    Thank you for your reply!

I was using the website crawl option to connect my data to the Merchant Center, now I use the Scheduled fetch option and the [gtin, mpn, brand] disappeared on this feed.

Is is still required to add those, or I am fine with this option?

when you are now only providing data to Google’s merchant center by feed and your feed does not have a brand, gtin or mpn in it then changes are that Google will (start) showing the notifications again so I would recommend adding at least one of those attributes to your feed(s).

    Hello @supportadtribes

I have another store with 4 products and a merchant center installed a year ago and I haven’t set up any gtin, mpn or brand and I don’t have a notification regarding.

    What is your opinion?

It depends on the products you sell, not for all products such unique identifiers are required/advised by Google.

    Hello @supportadtribes

    Thank you!

One more thing, I deleted some products from my store, refreshed the product feed but each time I delete them also from the merchant center and hit fetch now they still appear.

I checked the .xml file, product by product are they don’t appear there.

For those specific products I get “Unavailable desktop and mobile landing page”, Google support said the issue is from the feed plugin.

How can I solve this issue? Is there a way for you to log into my store?

    Hi,

Not sure I understand? So you remove products from your feed but they still show in your merchant center?

Once you hit the fetch button did you also hit the process button in your merchant center?

    (@fitpinz)

    Hi,

Yes, first I removed the products from the store, updated the feed file, deleted those products from the merchant center and then clicked fetch on the merchant center and then re process feed. One I did this after a few minutes those products appeared again on feed.

    supportadtribes

    (@supportadtribes)

That is strange, and you are absolutely sure the products are removed from your feed? If so, can you send us the feed URL and some product ID’s you believe should not be in your feed?

    Thread Starter fitpinz

    (@fitpinz)

The products that I deleted where in the Trash, I cleared the trash, fetched the feed, I will wait a couple of hours and check to see if they will appear again.

One more thing I notice is that Product Feed Pro, uploaded only 17 products from 47 that are on my store?

    Can we discuss on chat?
Can I give you access to my store to find the issue?

Can I give you access to my store to find the issue?

Per the WordPress forum guidelines that is not allowed.

If you would like us to have a look:

Also, when your feed contains less products than expected then there can be several reasons for that. We have listed the most common configuration reasons here: https://adtribes.io/help-i-have-none-or-less-products-in-my-product-feed-than-expected/

    Hi,

Thanks for this. I just checked your feed and none of those 5 product ID’s are in your feed so I am not entirely sure I understand you correctly. Those should not be in the feed you mention and they are not. So thats good right?

    (@fitpinz)

    Hi,

They are not in my .xml feed file but they appear on merchant center. I try to delete them from the merchant center, I click fetch and they appear again.

    supportadtribes

    (@supportadtribes)

In that case are you sure you configured your merchant center to retrieve this feed and not another (old) one? https://dotcomgoods.com/wp-content/uploads/woo-product-feed-pro/xml/OU98gbsN02K1nvOKG0SK05r2n8gSoUp0.xml

Also, are you not running some sort of other process or plugin that uploads products to your merchant center?
