Limiting Custom URL sitemap index entries

    I am having trouble with using wpseo_sitemap_index.

    I have created a custom url sitemap and it is working fine. However, I wanted to limit its URL entries to just 500 but it doesn’t work.

    It is working for the default entries but for the custom, it doesn’t.

    Any way to achieve this?
