Limiting image dimension when uploading to post

  • Hi all,

    I’m looking for a solution that would allow limiting the image dimensions when uploading it to the server.

    I mean, suppose I set a maximum dimension, I want that if my user upload a larger photo than that, to bring an error message and not using the image.

    I know I can change the dimension of the uploaded file using scripts like timthumb.php etc, or set up in WP admin panel a maximum dimension of an image – but that’s not enough current case …

    Does anyone have a direction to solve such an issue, or heard of a plug-in that handles this ?
