    Hello,

Instead of using a static front page, my homepage shows my latest posts.

Even though I’ve changed the number of posts to show in settings > reading at 5, my front page at felicitymacintosh.com is still showing all my posts.

Please may someone shed some light in how I can resolve this issue and just have my latest five posts showing on the homepage.

    Many Thanks,

  • you have set your posts to be ‘sticky’ –
and ‘sticky’ posts will generally be shown on the posts page in addition to the number of posts per page set under ‘settings – reading’

remove’ sticky’ from your posts …

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for your reply.

I understand about sticky posts, I’ve been using them for years on my other blog. They are great but as I have over 100 posts, over 500 on my other blog, I end up having the title/summary of all of these on the front page which after a while, slows it down and makes it look too messy. I only want the latest five sticky posts to show on the fromt page.

    I hope that make sense?

    Thanks.
