• Hello,

I have this error on my website. To view live go to:

    [moderated: redundant link redacted]

I’ve tried disabling a few plug-ins. I had updated a few so I wasn’t sure which one caused it. I updated to the new version of Elementor. I reverted it back with no luck.

I read it could be a WooCommerce error having to do with the add to cart button.

    Here is the error:

Argument #1 is not an array in /base/controls-stack.php on line 1184

Hopefully I can resolve this soon. Thanks so much!

    Amanda

  • This PHP warning is DEFINITELY coming from Elementor, though it could be as a result of a conflict with another plugin. The Elementor developers are even aware of it and “looking into it”

    See: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/bug-in-2-9-0-php-warning/

Note that this is a PHP WARNING, and not an ERROR. Warnings (generally) don’t stop the code from working: they merely tell the developer… “You are doing something wrong here and it is very likely to cause errors in the future, so please fix it.”

In fact, it is a good security practice to configure your website to never display any warnings publicly on your website… such warnings should be “logged” in a file on the server for the developer/administrator to review privately.

Thank you s much for your reply. How do I keep warnings and errors from displaying publicly on the website?
