Line 1486 Error Again

    This plugin should be more resilient to the ShrinkTheWeb service going down.

    Currently that service is unreachable so my site errors with:

    WP Portfolio – General Settings

    Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /var/sites/l/lenssniper.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-portfolio/wp-portfolio.php on line 1486

    I cannot even get to the General Settings page of the plugin. Also, all my thumbnails are local on my site which makes it even more frustrating.

    We agree. This has been pointed out before and is on our list of to-do’s. However, we’re spending all our resources dealing with the recent instability and an apparent dying motherboard in the primary web server. Those are priority and we’re trying to swap out hardware and rebuild our entire infrastructure to overcome these issues.

    Once things calm down, we will be looking to rebuild the service and revamp associated plugins such as this one.

    Update: This is a quick note that we have this task in our list for an upcoming release of WP-Portfolio. We hope to release the new version, with fixes, enhancements, and a new Grid feature within the next few months. Thank you!
