it means exactly what it says.. it cannot find those 2 files.

Make sure you have followed the directions in the README (its in the zip), make sure you have uploaded all the files to the correct location.

and read error messages, they are not that cryptic.

if i didn’t already feel like a complete retard before, i definitely do now.

I don’t exactly know what to do with this. I followed the instructions and i can’t see what i am doing wrong. I have modified any other file other than wp-config.php.

What did i miss?

you still havent indicated whether or not you have uploaded all of the files correctly.

if youre still getting errors like you posted above and youre sure that youve uploaded them correctly, then you might want to take a screenshot of the directorys as you see them in your ftp client for someone else to make sure youve done it properly.

I started from the beginning again. Downloaded WordPress again so i was positive i hadn’t changed anything that i wasn’t supposed to. I followed the visual/audio tutorial and uploaded everything, to my knowledge, correctly.

When i go to install WordPress i get this message.

Now i don’t understand this if wp-config.php is the only thing i’ve edited.
I think i have everything correct, so why does it still not work?
