    Hi,

I use the default theme of WP.
I’d like to add a line at the bottom of every post.

    What template should I edit?
    Thanks

    Hi ugua,

When you say you want to add a ‘line’, do you mean a line to seperate posts? If so just edit your templates index.php and add something like a <hr /> tag with a few CSS tweaks.

I can’t edit admin.php trough the admin panel?
I have to do it with ftp right?

You probably don’t want to edit admin.php ever.

You want to look in your theme’s index.php, which you can get to from the Admin menu, Presentations, Theme editor.

You’re logged on as an Admin, right?
What version of WP are you running?

Log in to your blog as an Admin user.

“Presentation” is the fourth option from the left.

I have it in italian and I don’t find anything close to Presentation:

If it’s a static html line, you could edit ‘post.php’ in the folder of your template, after the line:

    <?php the_content(); ?>

    dont find index.php ??

You’ll have to help us translate. I don’t know italian.

Under “aspetto”, you have two options. One to pick the theme and one to EDIT the theme files (english it is labeled as “Theme Editor”). Under theme editor, you will find a list of files. In english it is called “Main Index Template” (click on it and you see index.php above the edit box).
