Line break in timeline

I have created a timeline with content that needs a line break. See this page:

For 1980, for example, I have two bullet points that I created by using • and I spaced out the bullet points using  

I am looking for a solution where I can separate the two bullet points with a line break. So far I have found nothing that works (html entities).

Anyone have a suggestion?
