Why doesn’t the <br> tag seem to work. OK. I’ll admit it. I’m a complete newbie to html and I doubt I’m doing this right and I’m using the Old Old Old interface for WP, but it seems like either a hard return or a <br> or both should give me space between two items and it doesn’t. HELP!

    1x Enter = br
    2x Enter = p

(unless you are using a wysiwyg something)

It doesn’t work. I put “” in between the lines and I just get one break. Here’s the code:

    ————
To Register Call 614.583.5333 – 9:30AM and 3:00PM, Monday through Friday.

WRITING PRACTICE II – THE MEMORY WEEKEND
    ————-

And all I get is one line break.

Oops. Obviously I don’t know how to use this system. Let me try that again. I put p in brackets and I get one line break.

The answer (for posting code) is right below the text input area: backticks `
Put one before the code and another one after.
It’s usually on the same key on the left top, where ~ [tilde] is.
