Line Breaks – fixed in 2.5?

  • Sorry if this has been asked…

    For the longest time I have been using the HTML editor only for my pages and cannot use the visual editor. I use break tags < br > in some places, and when I save my pages, it gets stripped out and does not remember them in visual editor mode.

    Has this problem been fixed in 2.5? I would love to start using the visual editor.

  • Try them in the HTML window and you should be fine?

    Assuming you’re on a Mac, the problem that existed with 2.1+ and TinyMCE has been resolved (at least in my local testing).

    I can now edit with Safari without line breaks being stripped when I save posts (FINALLY!).

    Thanks…However I am on a PC. I’ll give it a shot when 2.5 is officially released. Hopefully it was addressed. I’d love to be able to finally use the visual editor.
